Replace dropdowns for page number with a text field, there are ~4600 pages of requests (meaning 4600 entries in the dropdown) here: https://www.muckrock.com/foi/list/

The page can be quite slow to load sometimes because of that. A text field would be better.

Thanks for the well thought out issue description and providing a link to where you are seeing this. I've added it to our triage and planning notes for when we take a deeper look back at Requests

This behavior is in the DocumentCloud viewer pagination controls, provides a little prior art for implementation.
