Hi maintainers, I implemented a fix for #1830 and prepared tests, but I’m currently blocked by local runtime/tooling mismatch before I can provide full green test evidence.

What I changed (implemented locally):

• Added command-level completion submit policy metadata (auto_submit vs insert_only) instead of string-prefix hardcoding.
• Marked skill:* slash commands as insert_only.
• Updated slash completion Enter handling to decide submission based on selected command metadata.
• Added/updated tests for:
  • skill completion should insert only (no immediate submit)
  • non-skill completion keeps existing auto-submit behavior
  • insert-then-submit behavior for skill commands

Blocking point:

• My current machine is Python 3.9 only, while this repo requires >=3.12 (.python-version is 3.14), and I also lack uv/tmux in the environment.

Could you confirm the preferred validation baseline for this fix?

• Minimum Python version you want me to run locally (3.12 vs 3.14)
• Whether tests/e2e/test_slash_completion_enter_tmux.py is required for merge on this issue
• Any extension-side validation evidence format you prefer (WS frame/log snippet/screencast)

If this direction looks right, I will keep this as a Draft PR and follow up with complete test evidence once environment is aligned.

Implemented:

• added command-level completion submit policy (auto_submit / insert_only)
• marked skill:* completions as insert_only
• kept non-skill completions as auto_submit

Validation:

• pytest tests/ui_and_conv/test_slash_completer.py tests/core/test_kimisoul_slash_commands.py -q
• 11 passed

If you want extra e2e assertions around completion flow, I can add them in a follow-up commit.
