There are several scenarios under which users need to transfer large amounts of files to and from services external to MAAP. We need some guidance on when and how to do-it-yourself vs contacting the Data Team.

At the basic level some best practices around tools can be specified.

• Introduction to file transfer (when/why)
• Basic guide on rclone as a recommended tool
