.ForCtorParam: bool? mapped as null despite conditional configuration

Hello.

We have configured a mapping of a DateTime? in a source class to a bool? in a destination record ctor, using .ForCtorParam:

public class User
{
    public DateTime? OnboardedOn { get; set; }
}

public record UserResponse(bool? IsOnboarded);

public class UserMappingProfile : Profile
{
    public UserMappingProfile()
    {
        CreateMap<User, UserResponse>()
            .ForCtorParam(
                nameof(UserResponse.IsOnboarded),
                opt => opt.MapFrom(user => user.OnboardedOn.HasValue)
            );
    }
}

Declaring IsOnboarded as bool? was our initial mistake, we changed it to bool already. However, before this fix, when User.OnboardedOn was null, UserResponse.IsOnboarded was mapped to null as well, disregarding the .HasValue condition in the config.

Am I missing something in the documentation, and this is expected? Thanks.

Check the execution plan.
MapFrom(user => user.OnboardedOn != null) works.
