It would be nice to have the clock available on the vertical layout as well, currently it's only available on the horizontal layout.

Well, I don't think there's enough room for this, is there ?
Where would you see the clock ?

At least on very large resolutions (4K, for example), something like this would work, would it not?

Very quick mockup, doesn't line up great (actually kinda lines up awfully) but it gets the idea across, there's a ton of space available -- not sure how this looks at smaller resolutions but at least having an option for it, or some pseudo-intelligent auto-hiding of it on smaller resolutions could be pretty neat.

It could, obviously, also go in other places, one of the corners, below the session selection dialog, or elsewhere maybe.

Spitballing here even something relatively outlandish like at the edge of the screen could work (possibly combined with some auto-hide mechanism to facilitate smaller monitors)

It's actually a nice Idea on large screens, but I don't think it would work on smaller ones. Still, an option to enable this when it's possible would be cool, I'll work on it
