Nice, a weechat plugin for messaging thru signal.

May I suggest adding github actions: super linter, and run unit and functional tests.

What's left to code, to get it to a working alpha version?

Hi @chris001 and thanks for you interest!
Unfortunately I lost the motivation to work on this project. At some point I was hopping to be able to use weechat as the universal client for all my messaging platforms, but it's just too much work.

So to answer your question: most of it is left to code… But some basic stuff used to work. I was able to receive messages (both private and group messages) and to send them too.
So it's quite some work if you want to be able to use it. But on the other hand, most of the hard work is done by signald so all this plugin has to do is implement an interface and write the weechat glue.
