Right now there are two very similar functionalities - "Git Sync" for design documents, and version control sync for collections, which requires a premium team account. The functionality of the two is very similar, especially since Git sync includes the "debug" collections. Are there plans to merge these two functionalities?
I ask because we are specifically looking for an HTTP client which integrates tightly with git, so that we can share API request collections and version them alongside the API implementations. "Version Control Sync" doesn't fit the bill for me because it's a separate versioning system to our source code (and because it is difficult to justify paying a high subscription fee when we've got a perfectly good version control system already with Github!). So I'm hoping that the answer is "yes, we're consolidating towards git sync"!
