  • Fixed machines sometimes losing air on world reload (under certain circumstances, based on pressure & Volume Upgrade count)
  • Village house generation has been redone to be properly datapack-friendly
  • No player-visible change, but previous generation could break datapack-based worldgen due to modifying world registries instead of dynamic registries
  • Fixed some block highlighting (GPS tools etc.) not showing the highlight for air blocks
  • Fixed possible server crash if an Air Compressor explodes (due to overpressure) on the same tick as it toggles on/off

Pyramids:

Restrict y range for the Bubble Column processor so that Ocean Pyramids do not crash if it tries to spawn below y = 0 or above y = 255.

Optimzation:

Optimized many RS structures so they check their piece's bounding boxes more efficiently at generation! Some people reported having lag spikes once in a while when a RS Mineshaft spawns. This should reduce that significantly.

Lang:

Dungeons:

Fixed double chests only having loot for 1 chest instead of 2 in RS Dunegons.

Bastions:

Fixed Skeletons in Underground Bastions so they spawn with correct amount of health.

Adjusted bottom of Unit Rooms in Underground Bastions to be a bit less ugly in center.

Strongholds:

Fixed prison trapped Wither Skeletons in Nether Strongholds so they spawn with more health now.

Mineshafts:

Fixed Ocean Mineshaft center room sometimes have random Prismarine placed awkwardly.

Config:

Simplified and finalized the default configs for what structure spawns in lotr mod's dimension. No RS Structure with mobs will now spawn in that dimension. The modified entries will be automatically added to your current entries the first time you launch v3.0.3 RS.

  • Catches fish and other things from the water.

  • Bait isn't required but will make it work much better.

Flax (Cultivation)

  • It's a crop. It makes string.

  • 4 types of mushrooms which when harvested, drop a generally non-renewable resource.

  • These require Mycelium, Podzol, or (untilled) Phyto-Soil to grow.

  • Glowstone, Redstone, Gunpowder, and Slime.

  • Mushroom growth cannot be sped up with bone meal or Phyto-gro.

Recycling recipe support! (Pulverizer and Smelter)

Changes

  • Adjusted behavior in the Induction Smelter somewhat to prevent really dumb things from happening.
  • Cells now have Transfer Control functionality and can extract from adjacent blocks.
  • Pulverizer and Smelter can now accept the Cyclical Processing augment for Catalyst reuse.
  • Refactors to where things live internally in preparation for 1.17+.

Tool Balance

  • Melting now gives up to twice as much fluid
  • Swords once again have 3 upgrade slots and 1 ability slot, as it turns out they are the strongest weapon in terms of DPS
  • Haste now gives only 5% attack speed per level instead of 10%
  • Dual wielding now causes 80% attack speed and damage, instead of just 66% attack speed
  • On large tools, its 90% attack speed, 70% attack damage
  • Sweeping edge is now linear, granting +25% sweeping per level
  • Reinforced is now a different formula to make level 1 less strong and later levels more viable
  • Jagged now gives only half the damage boost it previously did, as it still ended up too strong
  • Insatiable does +2 damage per level instead of +3
  • Piercing now does +1 piercing per level, but -0.5 attack damage (net gain of +0.5)
  • Glowing now only works on tools with durability (only affects addons), but only costs 10 duarability per glow instead of 25
  • Many handle stats rebalanced
  • Within each tier, all handles should be roughly as strong
  • Tier 4 is now about as strong as tier 3, to encourage using older materials
