Authenticating extension failed: Bad code signature}

I am trying to connect a Wii controller to my mac but when I try opening the app, I get asked to introduce my admin password and the the app closes.
then I try running WJoy via Terminal and When I try to connect the controller I get the following error:

I am using macOS 11.2.3
on a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports)
