Can't Get VRS Wheel Base to show up in software

I'm new to linux (and by new i mean this weekend) so I most likely did something wrong but I have tried multiple times to get it to show up in the DirectForce Pro config tool but I can't seem to get it to show up. I've got it working with the FFBTools but it just won't seem to show up in the software or on Assetto Corsa to be mapped.

Some trouble shooting I've currently done is verified with the FFBTools that is working and at least recognized by my computer as there.
Verified its showing up on the HIDRAW devices through the console
and just completely restarting and going through the process a couple times thinking maybe i just messed something up.

I'm running Linux Mint and was able to get pass it and get it functioning in a Virtual Machine so I know its something with me I just don't know where I went wrong any help is appreciated
