The dragon bee doesn't work.

The dragon bee does not settle in beehives. This error causes an unpassable stage in the productive bees mod.
No method fixes the error, and the bee does not generate resources even with the simulator modification.
This error has been occurring for many months among some users.

make sure you have the hives set up correctly

I have found a possible solution to this, me and a friend were trying to figure out why they wouldnt enter the Dragon Hive or Advanced hive. He ended up using an obsidian block both around and in a feeding slab. He put them back into a sturdy bee cage and made sure to right click the entrance of the Advanced bee hive and that seem to do the job. We also did this in the end, after you go through the end city portal thing that spawns after you kill the end dragon
