Problem while trying to open this project on Unity

I found this link below from Unity

I can't open projects created in Unity 2019.4 and below.

That basically says I can't open this project on recent Unity version. I'm thinking if creating a new branch so we don't need to install an older version of Unity could be nice for devs. Or if this is asking to much, just updating it to a newer version of unity?

I'm not much into Unity or Game Dev, so sorry if my suggestion is not ideal.

Upgrading is not always straightforward, needing code adjustments and testing.
I see that @Interkarma did some preliminary work on branch 2022_2_21f1-lts-upgrade, some time ago now, and that others have forked the repository and done additional work (@bhamlin98 ?). Also, I remember people talking about upgrading Unity version before, maybe on the Discord server (that was a while back, that memory is fuzzy).
