Setting --header-background does not keep the original color

I want to change the --header-background variable for a grid, but the color is off everytime i set it. Appearently it applies a function named to-opaque to the color. I would expect the color to be the exact color that i set.
As a developer i expect to be able to set an exact color.

@xdinterface What version of Ignite UI for Angular are on? Also, provide a snippet of how you're configuring the grid theme?

I got it to work by using the theme. I was hoping i would be able to just set the css variables and omit the whole theming part, but i guess it is better to use the theme functions you are providing.

Technically it should work, that's why I wanted a snippet.

I don't have the original code anymore since we replaced it with the theme, but it was just the igx-grid selector with the variable set.

     igx-grid {
      --header-background: #{$grid-header-background};

I just changed it to the theming function and it worked.
