Game crashes when moving to race weekend after replacing staff in contracts tab

I am on a F1 Manager 23 save. When I use the contracts tab to hire new staff, the game crashes when loading into the next race weekend.
I've tried manual contract and auto contract.
I've also verified that hiring them normally in-game does not cause a crash.
I've also tried on a save where I only replace 1 staff member and do nothing else, and it still crashes.
