Vol1 Actors and transactions - Content Creators
What is wrong
Some of the content consumers displayed good detail for ODH content, while others were only able to display a subset. Since this is not a requirement for content consumers, we were not able to enforce detailed display, though some accommodated the request. We need to update the PCC content consumer test plan to require the content creator for CDA to provide their XML Style Sheet, which would include how they style the ODH rendering. We could include an ODH option for the consumer and will propose this as a comment to the IHE IPS Profile. Additionally Inconsistent displays of the NULL in the rendered view of the FHIR Documents. Human readable content expectations are not consistent.
The IHE PCC-1 View option only defines that the content consumer be able to display with the CDA style sheets provided by the content creator. PCC-1 has been updated by ITI to include MHD (FHIR) transactions, but there is no requirement or guidence on the Consumer View end for discreet displays like the CDA option. This is resulting in narrative only displays of FHIR documents.
Describe the solution you'd like
Content consumer expectations for the View option should call out the ability to display the information discreetly, explicitly for FHIR implementations either in this profile of in the Technical Framework. We need to enforce what expectations are for FHIR renderings.
Content Consumer Obligations need to be incorporated into the consumer requirements and testing options. New expectations should be incorporated in the testing expectations tab, that defines how we will expect to see the Handeling and Display behaviors in the testing environment.
