Event data on GDACS may change over time. For example, the flood event in Spain was initially classified as Red, with a different level of hazard intensity. Should we maintain a version for each significant change that the ETL discovers in the event, or should we update our related items (event and hazards) with the latest information available from GDACS?
I think we would want to save and maintain each version -- what we visualise on GO at any given moment will be a different matter, but for the purposes of assessing the accuracy of different forecasts and assessments and for assessing the evolution of events over time, we'd probably need to have a record of each version/instance.
