Issue Summary
When the application is open for an extended amount of time the Git side panel and git tracking may become unresponsive
Detailed Description
I tend to leave my editor open for extended period and through multiple sleep cycles. A few times since the latest release of 2.0.2-insider.4 the VCS panel on the primary side bar will become unresponsive. I have to use the comman palette (Shift + Command + P) and use the Developer: Reload window option to get the tracking to reflect the actual state of the repo on disk.
