Describe the bug
Images larger than screen resoution are not scaled down when opened

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open an image from a tweet that is a higher resolution than the screen.
  2. Observer that it is not scaled to the screen resolution.

Expected behavior
Images should be scaled to the screen resolution

This is intentional behaviour. You clicked on the image to see the detail, so we show the detail 🙂 Clicking an image and not have it get much larger when you know there's a high-res image there would be annoying in a different way.

The Cawbird 2.0 UI update will have zoom options so that people can choose 1:1 or fit-to-screen and other zoom options.

I'm glad that it will be addressed in the 2.0 UI update
