ALOpsAppCompiler@2 fails with `System.Text.Json` assembly mismatch when using `alternativevsixurl: 'PRERELEASE'`

There may be an upcoming issue with ALOpsAppCompiler@2 when using the setting:

alternativevsixurl: 'PRERELEASE'

Since Friday, our pipelines have started failing with the following error:

Could not load file or assembly 'System.Text.Json, Version=10.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=cc7b13ffcd2ddd51'.
The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (0x80131040)

This appears to be related to a dependency or version mismatch introduced in the current prerelease VSIX.

I want to raise awareness that this issue may occur more broadly in the future if the prerelease version becomes the latest release.

Same happens (also since last Friday) with "Latest" in our NextMajor Pipeline

What's the story on this one? We haven't been able to compile anything against a NextMajor for a while now. Is this an ALOps thing that is being addressed or a Microsoft issue?

Microsoft regularly break stuff in NextMajor versions. Since these versions are not supported, it's hard for us to see whether it's a Microsoft issue, or an ALOps issue.

So in general - NextMajor are not on our top priority list.

This one however, we have a plan of attack. I hope to be able to handle it in the upcoming week.
