Icons sheet should use 16x16 spaces for each icon.

Description of your suggestion.

For resourcepack compatibility and general consistency the icons.png sheet should space each icon in its own 16x16 pixel box.

This would allow the icons to be changed to any minecraft item.

What about effect icons? In vanilla those are not 16x16.

The effect icons are fine, as they represent the thing they do and are large enough to replace entirely or just with a 16x16 item or icon.

The issue with the job icons is that they can't be changed without some artistic license. What I did was change each one into a stylized 14x14 version of the item I chose to represent them because some of the spaces are 16x16 while others are 15x15, 15x16, etc.
