Compatibility issue with LambdaBetterGrass

Chests disappear when "force resource pack compatibility" is turned on and LambdaBetterGrass is installed.
This means that when a resource pack conflicts with EBE, there is no way to fix it.

This can be replicated with only the two installed on 1.20.1 quilt.
No resource pack loaded besides from the default.
No shaders needed.

It additionally throws the following error:
