On a windows 10, Olympus puts itself in appdata roaming on the C drive (both installation folder and log/config folder) and I can't find any way to change that.

I have a small ssd for windows on the C drive and I got a D hdd that's full of room, and I would really prefer if I could put Olympus on there instead.

(It also made a desktop shortcut and did not ask permission to do that.)

(Everest and mods go in the celeste folder so at least it goes on the drive I want.)

For the installation folder, you should actually be able to cut and paste the folder at %appdata%\Olympus wherever you want and run it from there 🤔

And for the config folder, there's an OLYMPUS_CONFIG environment variable you should be able to set to what folder you want

Moving the appdata Olympus worked (still would prefer if that was something you could change when it installs itself).

Can't find the config environment variable tho. Should I make a new one or is it something to change in the Olympus files?

You should be able to create a new environment variable in your Windows settings, yeah

Ok I confirm that worked at least.
