make configurable

Can you please make the plugin more configurable:

1. Remove the 1000 limit
2. Choose how to sort the tags/branches?
3. Show only tags, or branches, or both

Allowing one to choose the limit as well as disabling. We have many tags and the more recent ones are showing at the bottom of the list. We can't get to the latest since we hit the 1000 tag limit.
