<p>Comme le chalutage peut avoir un impact important sur l’établissement des plumes de mer, il pourrait être pertinent d’inclure l’information sur la densité de pêche commerciale au chalut dans les modèles. Bien que cette méthode de pêche ne constitue pas une variable environnementale qui peut définir un habitat potentiel pour les plumes de mer, elle reste tout de même une variable pouvant expliquer une partie de la variance dans les occurrences des plumes de mer. Considérer la densité de pêche commerciale au chalut dans les modèles pourrait donc améliorer la qualité des prédictions de ceux-ci.</p>
<p>Nous n’avons pas intégré les données de densité de peĉhe commerciale au chalut pour l’instant, mais il sera intéressant d’explorer l’effet de cette variable sur les cartes de distribution des plumes de mer obtenues à partir des modèles.</p>
