Runs into a "Waiting..." loop

Hi,

I am checking a 10k email list and just after the initial check of 20..30 emails, it runs into a never ending "Waiting..." loop.

Can you please check?

Hi,

I've successful ran the script with an over one million list of emails, so I'm pretty sure it's not the size of it.

Can you check your list of emails for any obvious format differences around where the script breaks? Also, if you could tell me which parameters you use to run the script - that'd be helpful.

I have used the default settings except that I have used the parameter:

children=20

just for the sake of test, try running it with a single child, so that you'll see where exactly things stop working.

Hi,

I have the changed the number of threads to 1 and it is working! Although
it has been just 5 mins into the list, it is checking at the rate of 2000
email addresses/hour.

Hey,

good to hear that it works for you. If it works in the single thread, but not not in 20, there might be some local issue to your machine. Maybe a limit on the number of parallel processes for the user under which you are running it. Try using 2 children and gradually increase the number to see if you can pinpoint where it stops working.

It'd be awesome if we identify why exactly it's not working. Other people might have similar issues.

I just started doing exactly as you said. Increased it to 2. I will share
my system config and I have another colleague working on an increased
number of a server configured to run multiple threads. Will share the
results if they are successful.
