Installation instructions have DNS failure

What went wrong?

The installation instructions link in the readme at https://github.com/EarthBuild/earthbuild/blob/main/README.md#installation points to https://earthbuild.dev/get-earthbuild, which is returning a DNS failure.

The docs install page at https://docs.earthbuild.dev/install points to https://earthly.dev/get-earthly which just resolves to https://github.com/earthly/earthly (upstream earthly), so that doesn't seem right either.

What should have happened?

Links for the installation instructions should take the user to a page with correct instructions on how to install earthbuild.

Is there a clear recommended installation path for earthbuild right now? Thanks!

Not sure what URL to use for earthbuild fork either. What would it take to host a fork of the documentation via domain? https://docs.earthly.dev/docs/misc/alt-installation doesn't seem to have an earthbuild equivalent to install via repository.

I was able to install an older release via https://github.com/earthly/earthly/releases. It's not ideal though and adds confusion with the fork. The newer releases with the fork did not work for me on my Chromebook with Debian Bookworm.

We are working towards distributing the CLI through common channels. When we have the first release, I'll update the documentation.

You have the following options:

1. Grab the EarthBuild CLI from https://github.com/EarthBuild/earthbuild/releases/tag/v0.8.17-rc-0
2. brew tap earthbuild/earthbuild and brew install --HEAD earth on macOS. This compiles the latest code from the main branch.

PS. I'm currently working on the release using Homebrew for Linux and macOS. We are nearing the first release soon.
