When calling with the following code, an error occurred. May I ask what is going on?

I can confirm that I get the same error from the make_YELLOW_grd_v1.py. Yes, it used to work. A web search brings up this discussion: #26

Note that I am no longer maintaining pyroms and I don't think anyone else is either.

I found a solution that works fine for me.

Step 1: Compiling libraries
Before the installation of Pyroms, you need to compile all the libraries provided in pyroms/pyroms/external
You can install them following this order: csa & nn --> gridutils --> gridgen, because the following libs need the previous ones.

To do so, please enter into each directory, and then type : ./configure; make all; make install
In addition, in my case, I also needed to modify the makefile before make.
I replaced all -I. with -I${includedir} and I also added -L${libdir} after all LIBS= and MLIB= when the compiling process can't find some header files or preinstalled libs.

Step 2: Modify hgrid.py
Following > #26
I modified the following line:
self._libgridgen = np.ctypeslib.load_library('libgridgen', pyroms.__path__[0])
to
self._libgridgen = np.ctypeslib.load_library('libgridgen.so', 'your lib path') #add your lib path here

Step 3: Install Pyroms
Now, you can install Pyroms as usual.
