Codecov is a tool that helps us to track the code coverage of our tests. It is integrated with GitHub. It is free for open source projects.

Motivation Goals

Enable developers to see the code coverage of their changes in the pull request. It also provides a nice overview of the code coverage of the whole project. Target coverage is 80%.

In scope

  • Integrate Codecov with GitHub
  • Update the CI pipeline to upload the coverage report to Codecov
