The EDRN P5 site does a daily backup which we retrieve and bring to JPL as part of a Jenkins job.
This job replaces each night's backup with the newest.
However, it may be helpful to have backups that go earlier in time. For example, suppose something happened to the content database (hacker defaces page, cosmic ray alters image, error corrupts content, etc.) that wasn't discovered until a month later. In this case, having a backup only in the last 24 hours in insufficient insurance.
