  • The code should compile and run under CMSSW_8_0_8. We have to make sure that we have a set of tests to be run to verify it works. Suggestions is to start from RAW data and produce ALCARAW, ALCARECO, ALCARERECO and ntuples.

  • Dataset to be used: - DoubleElectron - SingleElectron Three skims have been defined: - ZSkim - WSkim: veto ZSkim and ZSCSkim - ZSCSkim: veto ZSkim and requires one electron+ one SC with invariant mass ~ Z Three Paths have been defined to produce ALCARAW and ALCARECO: - ZPath: use the ZSkim - WPath: use the WSkim - ZSCPath: use the ZSCSkim The three paths are exclusive (as the skims) and the results in contained in TriggerResult colellection The appropriate sequence for the ZSC events should be defined to produce ntuples containing this kind of events. The idea is to keep the SCs till the patElectron step and try to produce a patElectron starting from a SC with some trick. This way the dumper do not need to be modified and the gen level matching for MC is still available.-> DOES NOT WORK! To do list: - verify if it is possible to produce a patElectron collection starting from SCs -> NOT POSSIBLE - fix the GBR EG tools from Josh to give corrections from a SC + h/E information - define a module to apply different selections on the SC (like the EleSelectionProducer) in the form a valuemaps - redefine or improve the ZSC skim -

  • ECALELF ntuples can be used also to study the clustering. The code selected only electrons for the moment and it's not possible to produce ntuples made starting from photon samples. - photon gun skim - output collections for photons in ALCARECO - photon selection - new photon energies - patPhoton - dumper made general for electrons and photons The development could be conducted in two steps: - develop a separate Path for photon gun - develop a separate Path for photons in general
