Ohhhhh hey. I was looking for something just like this.

I'm in the middle of decoupling all the UI from the winforms stuff, one dialogbox at a time. This looks like it'd be perfect. I'll check it out thanks for the recommendation

And you can also use Qt: write the GUI code in C++ and use bindings to bind the main code coded in C# to the GUI code.

I'm going to give Eto a shot.

If it can handle the gridview stuff in the main form, it'll work

did some early tedious work on slicing out of winforms into its own projects and getting the logic into view/controllers so that we can drop Eto in.

I got it displaying a placeholder form compiling using the same underlying stuff for both native winforms and Eto.

It'll probably take a while but, it's a good start to actually building the GUI

I want to redo some of the underlying MVC logic a bit more but, it's not a bad starting point

And if you want to port to Qt, you need to gradually convert all the C# code to C++.

I don't think there's a universe where this is being converted to C++. But it looks like ETO has C# GTK bindings so, in theory we can get cross-platform GUI support using that
