Program does not detect corrupted files/no warning shown when file is corrupted

When a file is corrupted, the program loads up as usual and shows no warning about any corrupted files. This could cause some confusion for TAs

Hi, you did not mention how you corrupted the file. If this was done by editing the .json file, users are warned against this in the UG, and solutions to resolve this are also provided.
