Integration of frontend and backend

While frontend is hosted on vercel, is there any alternative way to host the backend? without paying much.

Nah I don't think Render has any capacity to have the required resources since in our case the backend or ml needs upto 5-6 gb so we are mostly out of free options.

I'm a little late to answer but, I had this problem when trying to deploy my SBERT/gemini model to render aswell. Since render only allows 512 mb for the free version + you have to pay a lot to get your 5-6gb, I say don't go with render. I had to use hugging face. I deployed my code within a hugging face space & that should work for you too. You should get by with the free version since it's 5-6 gb as you mentioned, but your space will go to sleep after 48 hours of inactivity. That shouldn't be too much of a problem i think especially considering it's free. If you want to upgrade to get more memory + no downtime hugging face also prices it really well: (give this a try it should work for you)
