Dear Paul,

I’m contacting you about DUNE:
DUNE is making use of the SURF dCache instance, and they are using some access doors for the xrootd protocol which will be moved soon due to upgrades. They can migrate over to the new doors that are running on new hardware for the coming years.

The old door is:
penguin12.grid.surfsara.nl

The new door is:
otter12.grid.surfsara.nl

Please let the relevant people in DUNE know, so they can ensure a smooth transition for the users. For more info on the dCache doors: https://doc.grid.surfsara.nl/en/latest/Pages/Advanced/grid_storage.html#default-ports
If they still encounter issues, a ticket can be opened through [email protected] .

@tobias Veit, in case more information is needed, please let us know.

Met vriendelijke groet / Kind regards,
Lodewijk
