Our Pledge

We are committed to making CyberStrike an open, welcoming, and professional community for everyone interested in offensive security, penetration testing, and AI-powered security tools.

Our Standards

Expected Behavior

  • Be professional. Treat all contributors with respect regardless of experience level.
  • Be constructive. Provide helpful feedback on issues and pull requests.
  • Be ethical. CyberStrike is for authorized security testing only. Do not share techniques, exploits, or tools intended for unauthorized access.
  • Be responsible. Follow responsible disclosure practices. Never share active vulnerabilities, credentials, or sensitive data in issues or discussions.
  • Help others learn. Security is a field where knowledge sharing makes everyone safer.

Unacceptable Behavior

  • Harassment, discrimination, or personal attacks of any kind
  • Sharing malware, exploits, or tools designed for unauthorized access
  • Posting credentials, API keys, or sensitive data (even in examples)
  • Spamming low-quality AI-generated issues or pull requests
  • Deliberately disrupting discussions or project work
  • Doxxing or sharing private information

Responsible Security Research

CyberStrike is a security tool. We expect all community members to:

  • Only test systems you own or have explicit written authorization to test
  • Follow applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
  • Practice responsible disclosure for any vulnerabilities discovered
  • Never use CyberStrike or its components for unauthorized access

Enforcement

Project maintainers will enforce this code of conduct:

  1. Warning — For first-time or minor violations
  2. Temporary ban — For repeated violations or serious misconduct
  3. Permanent ban — For extreme violations or persistent bad behavior

The vouch/denounce system is used to manage contributor trust.

Report violations by:

All reports will be reviewed and investigated. Reporters' identities will be kept confidential.

Scope

This code of conduct applies to all CyberStrike project spaces: GitHub repository, issues, pull requests, Discord, and any other community channels.

This Code of Conduct is adapted from the Contributor Covenant, version 2.1.
