While we appreciate the enthusiasm and wish you the very best on your OSDev journey, I'm afraid that GitHub Discussions isn't a good place for this. We like to keep conversations on-topic here, and related to Cosmos, as this is the project page meant to help with development of Cosmos - not to discuss general topics, like a forum. Given that you expressed you aren't interested in using Discord, you may be interested in the OSDev Forums, but I would first recommend only reading the forums instead of immidiately jumping in to the conversation. You could also join the subreddit, r/osdev.
