I've converted this into a discussion because this is also mentioned in #603 (comment). Although optparse-applicative doesn't depend on the new containers, if the following two issues are closed:
Then we can easily extend the versions of all dependencies in the next release. The author / maintainer seems to be waiting for GHC 9.14 which, accordingly to https://www.haskell.org/ghc/blog/20250912-ghc-9.14.1-alpha2-released.html, should be released very soon.
We won't be revising the already released version, but we can fix it in the next release one way or another. |

I think it is good to try to keep copilot in Stackage Nightly,
this guarantees it will land in the next Stackage LTS major version.
Is it possible to revise the current 4.5.1 release to allow optparse-applicative-0.19?
Or at least for 4.5.2 perhaps?
