Collection of location data

Create a mechanism to collect anonymous location information from the user. There is open discussion about whether this should be opt-in or opt-out. There should also be discussion about what information we should collect: starting location and searched destination? the route the user takes? should we "blur" their start/end before it goes in the database if it is residential?
