Gamify Contributions with a Leaderboard #120
Description
During a conversation, Rennet suggested a great idea to increase member engagement in our projects: adding a leaderboard to gamify the contribution process.
- Use the GitHub service to fetch contributions as a score to rank members.
- To keep things fair, maintainers could be filtered out or placed in a separate category since they typically have higher contribution counts.
- Every time a PR is merged into
main, we can update and send the leaderboard along with the changelog (possibly a separate issue). - This would serve as both a motivator for contributors and a way to advertise new features.
