overpy.Overpass.query fails with status code 406

Since April 19 2026, overpy.Overpass().query calls fail with an HTTP Error 406, "not acceptable".

Why the behavior changed needst to be investigated.

This is the reason why the unit test climada_petals.entity.exposures.test.test_osm_dataloader.TestOSMApiQuery.test_get_data_overpass fails.

The overpass servers have been seeing some performance issues this year (see https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/overpass-api-performance-issues/140598/139 ) Could this be related?
