Funding request for FOSDEM

I confirm that the request adheres to the CCC travel expense policy.

Purpose

To present progress on standardization of attested TLS in Confidential Computing devroom at FOSDEM 2026.

Travel expense

Current flight and hotel estimates: 425 Euros

I request a contribution of 500 USD.

Alignment with CCC SIG charter

It is related to the two adopted projects of SIG, namely intra-handshake attestation and post-handshake attestation.

1. Formalization (hosted here) was approved as part of the first project and is complete from my perspective. It is under SIG review to declare it as completed.
2. The second project is completely on formal analysis.

I am actively working on both and have presented the progress in several meetings in the SIG as well as at IETF meetings. Some pending SIG slides are here. A (somewhat) complete list of all presentations is here.
