Changing docker-compose changes nothing

Hello,

when i change config vars in the docker-compose file and build, specifically the localhost to an IP Address it still trys to connect to localhost.

Is there something i am missing?

Just to check did you do docker compose down before re-running docker compose up I have had issues before where I have just done a compose stop and it's left the containers in a stopped state and they don't pickup changes made to the compose file

Yeah i did both, i even started over with a fresh install and git pull, then modified the file and built but still have the issue

I actually might have the same problem, I can't get the front end to connect to the backend regardless of what I try in the config.
Is that the same issue your having?

Yes, if you check the network tab in the inspector of your browser you can see the config is not changing the address

Saw this on reddit and thought I'd give it a try... I encountered the same issue of the settings in docker-compose.yml not being accepted. I poked around the source and then noticed that the default branch is 'dev'. I tried cloning 'main' and it's working.

git clone -b main https://github.com/Beast12/who-rang.git

Thanks for the issues. I'm currently focused on bringing a complete package for Home Assistant with a integration and addon. So I had to park this seperate stack for now. I will start working on the seperate stack once I finished the complete HA integration
