Looking towards the summer, I'm sure (well, hope!) there will be long days of consecutive sunshine that will mean there is no need to pre-charge and PV generation for the day will exceed the capacity of the Powerwall.
As PwS predicts shortfalls, it could predict overages too using the same data. Knowing this in advance would enable us to schedule energy hungry appliances (dishwashers, washing machines, etc) to soak up more over the overage the following day instead of overnight during off-peak (when I would typically schedule a such an appliance during shortfall months, which is around two-thirds of the year in the UK).
