Starting on 14 March 2025, all NC, NCv2, NV, and ND series VMs, inclusive of their promo series will be deallocated. Any AKS workloads running on these deallocated VMs will break. VMs utilizing the retired VM sizes will not be able to boot back up, as there will no longer be any more capacity to support those VM sizes. Please transition to a supported VM size by that date.
In upgrading to new VM sizes, features and functionalities will change. Please ensure that the VM sizes are compatible with your workloads before making the shift. Refer to the NV series migration guide or refer to this guide for migration paths for NC/ND series VMs.
