'Save & Exit Game' neither saves nor exits the game

Save & Exit Game does not save the game.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Get a star
2. Select 'Save & Exit Game'
3. The game does not save or exit

Expected behavior
The game saves and exits

Additional context
I compiled with the following settings:
TARGET_SWITCH=1 BETTERCAMERA=1 NODRAWINGDISTANCE=1 TEXTURE_FIX=1 HIGH_FPS_PC=1

I must have been mistaken, I was unable to recreate the issue again with Save & Continue, but was able to with Save & Exit Game.

On switch version Save & Exit do not close the application nor save, tested on my console.
