Describe the issue
Version: All The Mods 10 (ATM10) V4.14
Dimension: The Other
Entity: Bee Bee
Description
While exploring The Other dimension, I encountered an entity named Bee Bee that instantly killed my character and completely destroyed all my equipped gear after a single sting.
After asking in the official Discord, I was told that this behavior is considered “normal,” but I strongly believe this might be a bug or oversight rather than an intended feature.
Expected Behavior
If the Bee Bee is meant to be dangerous, it should deal significant damage — but not instantly kill a player wearing max-tier armor and not completely delete or break gear that has mending and full enchantments.
Actual Behavior
- The Bee Bee’s sting instantly kills the player, regardless of armor protection or health.
- The sting also completely destroys all armor and items worn, including fully enchanted and gem-enhanced Supremium gear.
- I had 5 full rows of hearts and 3 rows of armor protection, yet was killed instantly.
- My Supremium set (with Mending, Godforged tier upgrades, and maxed gems) was completely broken after one hit.
Why This Feels Like a Bug
Even in high-risk dimensions, losing a full maxed-out set instantly feels out of balance — especially when there’s no prior warning, lore entry, or tooltip about the Bee Bee’s behavior.
If intentional, I’d suggest adding:
- A warning tooltip or advancement hint about this mob.
- Or rebalancing its damage output to avoid instant, unavoidable deaths and full gear destruction.
Steps to Reproduce
- Enter The Other dimension.
- Encounter a Bee Bee.
- Allow it to sting you once while wearing Supremium or similarly high-tier armor.
- Observe instant death and full equipment breakage.
Additional Notes
This feels more like an oversight or scaling issue with the Bee Bee’s damage formula rather than an intended hardcore mechanic.
If intentional, some player-facing information or a countermeasure (like a potion or item) would make it feel fairer.
