My research focuses on understanding brain development across infancy and adolescence using large-scale, longitudinal population data. I study the neural mechanisms underlying language development by integrating MRI and EEG approaches to investigate how the infant brain processes and acquires language.
A central theme of my work is examining adolescent brain development through structural and diffusion imaging in large longitudinal datasets, with particular emphasis on how age and BMI relate to brain maturation. I leverage population-level neuroimaging data to identify developmental trajectories and individual differences in brain structure and connectivity. My research emphasizes reproducible methods and scalable analytical approaches that can characterize neurodevelopmental patterns across the lifespan, from infancy through adolescence, linking brain development to cognitive, linguistic, and physical growth.
