all other modules in the waybar are colored and are using my theme from wallbash, cava is not and looks out of place, it was working before however I screwed something up.

You're using a cava.sh script, right? I'm not sure how to fix that bug but I CR this one with any cava.sh script, such as the one from
Hyprdots. CNR with source-built waybar + inbuilt libcava support.
