strange background color of nm-applet icon

I'm using Hyprland on a notebook, connected to an external 2K monitor with the scale factor set to 1.2.

After merging #2626, I have noticed that the nm-applet icon is not functioning properly on my external 2K monitor. As seen in the provided screenshot, the background color of the WIFI icon appears to be somewhat strange.

But this issue does not happen on built-in screen:

I reverted #2626 and recompiled Waybar, which resolved the issue at hand (lower one in the above screenshots). While I believe this pull
request has valid points, so I decided to open this issue instead of creating a merge request to revert #2626.

BTW, I'm using Faenza-dark icon theme.

sorry, seems my icons are broken...
