LFOM too short?

Hello, I have a problem with my LFOM, it looks too short. Should it be going through the surface of the bottom of the tank and the water?

If the LFOM is too short check to see which parameter is wrong. Either the LFOM head loss is incorrect (unlikely) or the height of the bottom of the bottom row of orifices above the bottom of the tank is incorrect (likely). Remember that the LFOM and trash rack together determine the MAXIMUM water level and then that is the value that you KNOW. So then the LFOM has to adjust to create that MAXIMUM water level.
